Overview

Found-Home is an app that allows users to view homes that are for sale and rent. Users can create an account using Google OAuth or email / password and input their own listings as well. I coded for the use of the Google Geocode API, but did not set up a key. Instead, users can input their own address and coordinates to properly show the location on the map that I used Leaflet to render.

I had a great time with this project. I learned a great deal about the benefits of using Firebase for a back end. The setup is fairly easy and the documentation is thorough. I also practiced implementing private routes with React-router-dom.

I am looking forward to getting back into this one with either React Native or Flutter. I want to implement taking photos and video with mobile devices and I want to improve the edit function for listings.
