Overview

I redesigned the website for a local salon using NextJS and Tailwind CSS with a focus on responsiveness and performance. I used Swiper for the image and review sliders. I utilized the Google Places API for the review data, hours and location data. The data is dynamic and when the business owner changes information on their Google Business profile, the website updates.

I had a few favorite experiences with this project. First, NextJS and Tailwind CSS were really fun to put together. The really long class names was something to get used to, but it was cool. I also took the opportunity to try out a dropdown from Headless UI.
